MOBILE RESPONSE STABILIZATION SERVICE PROVIDER

The Children’s Resource Center has been serving the community of Wood County, Ohio for over 40 years. We are a team of dedicated professionals providing child-centered, family-focused mental health and co-occurring mental health/substance abuse treatment services to the youth of Wood County and their families. We provide a full continuum of trauma-focused care using the Sanctuary Model. This approach emphasizes minimizing impact of trauma on clients, but also addresses the importance of understanding the impact of the work on staff. With an emphasis on collaboration and open communication, staff are provided support and encouragement of self-care, which in turn can have a positive impact on staff morale.

MRSS Provider – The Children’s Resource Center is recruiting a full-time MRSS provider. Our Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) is a program designed to prevent hospitalizations and out of home placements for youth when they or their families are experiencing a mental health crisis. Services are provided in the community, including in the home or school settings and include an initial crisis intervention and can also include follow-up stabilization services in the weeks that follow the initial crisis intervention. As part of the MRSS team, you will work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and supportive environment.

This position includes specific training in crisis intervention and the MRSS model, supervision and consultation.

Must have passion and commitment to working with youth and families in the community, and an Ohio license in social work, counseling or MFT. Bachelor’s degree with a license required, Master’s degree with a license preferred. Additionally, this position requires having reliable transportation, as this role requires travel on a daily basis (mileage reimbursement is included).

OUTPATIENT CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Outpatient Mental Health Children’s Therapist
– Full time position to perform mental health assessments, individual and family counseling and crisis intervention for children and adolescents. Some opportunity to see clients through telehealth services. Minimum qualifications include: a master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline; Ohio licensure as counselor, social worker, marriage/family therapist or psychologist; clinical training/experience with children, youth, families. INFANT AND EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY SUPPORT AND PARENT EDUCATION PROVIDER

Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of young children and families? Children’s Resource Center is looking for a Family Support Provider (FSP) to join our Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Prevention Team. Family Support Providers offer family support and parent education by conducting regular home-visits and facilitating parenting groups in 7 counties (Fulton, Henry, Ottawa, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood). Family Support Providers also collaborate with other early childhood serving agencies and assist with county events and screenings. Hours are flexible. Driving is required for the position in up to 4 counties with mileage reimbursement. Must be able to work independently but also work well within a team. Bachelor in family studies, social work, early childhood education or other related area is preferred. Experience working with families and young children is required.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTANT

Children’s Resource Center is seeking an energetic and experienced mental health professional with a master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family counseling for the positions of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant in Northwest Ohio. Infant and early childhood mental health consultation presents an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to expand their skills into the field of consultation. Consultants receive specialized training to provide mental health consultation services to early childhood education settings through an evidence-based consultation model. In collaboration with consultees (teachers, home visitors, child care providers), consultants work to promote equity and build adult capacity to support the social and emotional development of the infants and young children they serve, some of whom may exhibit challenging behaviors. We provide weekly supervision and team support. Driving required.

BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST / RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM

BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST: Full time, part time, and relief work positions providing direct care and treatment to youth with behavioral and emotional needs in a short-term residential treatment setting. Hours vary with evenings, weekends, and holidays included. Bachelor’s degree or appropriate experience in human services, education, or related field required. Knowledge of trauma theory and interventions preferred. Experience with youth very important. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to pass background checks including BCI/FBI and drug testing.

Provide assessment, counseling, crisis intervention and referrals to children and adolescents and their families, addressing a wide range of emotional and mental health needs. Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and parents to create a significant impact in the school setting and emotional/mental wellness for your clients and their families. CASE MANAGER

Full time position working in a community based mental health program. Duties include duties include home visits, coordination with community providers, and family support. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field required or three years relevant experience. FAMILY FUNCTIONAL THERAPY SUPERVISOR

We are hiring for a full-time position at an innovative children’s mental health agency providing supervison to evidence-based model of treatment to children and their families in the home setting and caring a caseload of up to twelve families. We have a strong supervision model and specific therapeutic techniques as part of the position. You may be required to travel for training purposes. This position requires a Master’s degree and license in social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy.
