We work with children and families to bring hope into situations where hope is sometimes lost.
When you call us at 419-352-7588 or 888-466-KIDS (5437), this first contact we have with you and your family is referred to as an “intake”. This conversation gives us a general idea of your concerns and typically leads to an appointment for a Mental Health Assessment (MHA).
Our Intake Coordinator will mail you a packet of materials prior to your MHA appointment. Please complete the questionnaires and bring them with you to the appointment. We also ask you to take the time to read the Client Handbook which explains services, fee payments, and your client rights. We can answer any questions you may have when you come to your appointment.
The MHA allows us to learn more about the nature of your child’s needs and helps us to determine the appropriate treatment services to recommend. A highly qualified clinician will meet with you for about two hours. They will conduct a family interview, administer questionnaires about child and family functioning, and discuss treatment planning options with you.
