Join us virutally for ACT: Raising Safe Kids, a free program that teaches positive parenting skills for families of Wood County with children age 0-10. This is an ongoing educational opportunity; keep an eye out for the next available group!

Tuesdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm on Zoom beginning March 5th, 2024 - April 23rd, 2024. Referrals accepted until 3/1/24.

Participants will:

• Discuss the concept of child development & children’s challening behaviors

• Learn the concept of REACT & RESPOND

• Learn how to prevent challenging behaviors through positive dicipline

• Understand consequences of children’s exposure to violence

• Learn how to understand, express, and control feelings

• Teach children to control anger and resolve conflicts

• Differentiate the difference between DISCIPLINE and PUNISHMENT
