OneOhio Recovery Foundation Awards Funds to CRC’s Co-Occurring Disorders Program
A $223,873 funding award has been approved by the OneOhio Recovery Foundation to support the reinstatement of CRC’s Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) Program. This program provides comprehensive care for Wood County youth and adolescents struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. Services provided will be Services provided will be tailored to the developmental state of individuals aged 11 to 21 and include multiple levels of care based upon severity of issues presented. Clients will engage in COD activities up to four days a week that include individual counseling, group counseling, and case management services. This holistic approach aims to address the underlying causes of mental health issues that contribute to substance abuse and high-risk behaviors.
Funding from the OneOhio Recovery Foundation will be essential in reinstating COD services as the program expands and transitions to self-sustainability through billing. The grant covers a 36 month span to support the facilitation of training completion, caseload acquisition, and community relationship-building for generating referrals.
The OneOhio Recovery Foundation is a private, non-profit organization created at the direction of Ohio’s state and local leaders to distribute 55 percent of the funds our state will receive from the pharmaceutical industry as a consequence of its role in the national opioid epidemic. The Foundation works with local partners to support their substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts and invests funds to support these efforts for Ohioans into the future.
